#FUSL01 Chippendale Tripod Stool

An American Chippendale mahogany tripod stool. The top is original with round lined molding on plank of the top. Beneath the top is a cast iron round plate. Might be from one of the famous school of New York or Chicago at the time of federal revolution when it was produced in those times. The four baluster central columns. The three baluster legs conical in shape. From column to legs are three turning support for legs so that they do not workup. Indeed a magnificent piece to be possessed for. It marks the tripod era in American history at that period of time.
